Jon b

I don’t know if I love Jon B. or not. I probably don’t really love him because I don’t even know the man. But I do have a lot of admiration for him as an artist and as an entertainer. He’s my favorite male R&B singer. For this reason I chose to dedicate a web page to him.

Jon B. is cool. As I told a friend of mine once, he’s the only White man in the music business who has it going on like he does. And he has a whole lot more respect for Black women than a lot of Black men do. He understands us when a lot of them do not. I mean a lot of Black men, the ones I see on BET and MTV anyway, don’t see us as anything more than a**es shaking. Some of the hip hop artists have even gone so far as to make porn movies, which I’ve once seen advertised in graphic detail on BET. They may as well had went ahead and showed the whole freaking thing! And what’s up with R. Kelly? He went from being a classy, God-fearing young man, to being an a**-encompassed thug. I mean how’d he do it? How’d he make the transistion? Yeah, R. Kelly used to be cool. But now n’sync has a better understanding of Black women than he does. Hell Aaron Carter has a better understanding of Black women than R. Kelly does.

But Jon B. He does a much better job of portraying us in his videos. The women in his videos are always classy and elegant and beautiful and sensual, and not just a bunch of hussies wiggling their butts around. I hope he never changes. If he does, I know he’ll lose a lot of love.

Maybe I do love him? Not love him like his woman loves him. But love him more than I do a lot of Black men. Like worms such as Master P. and all those other ugly gold-tooth wearing knuckleheads in hip hop videos.

Yeah I do.
